Even though many people think about only one way how home security systems can help protect your home, the fact is that these devices are able to offer you protection on three different levels.

• First level – The security cameras on your home security systems can be considered to be the first protection level. One of the things that cameras do great is “advertise” your security system to potential intruders. By having something like this near your home, you are able to deter a lot of those who might have otherwise entered your home. Of course, if this does not completely work there are other things that can protect you.

• Second level –? The second level of security is the alarm that is connected to the these home security systems. If a person enters your home when he should not, the alarm is a great thing to get his attention. It will also get the attention of you, your neighbors and the authorities. This is one of the most important alarm features.

• Third level – This is a level of security that not all wireless home security system have. This security level costs a little bit more because it includes a professional security company constantly monitoring your home. This means that if your alarm were to go off, the monitoring company would know about it and immediately contact the proper authorities.
Some home security systems include each of these levels of security, while others might include one or two.
